TSD was the Transportation Executive Management Vendor for the 2020 Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee, WI. TSD's involvement in the Convention planning started at the very begining of the prosess as part of the DNC's Technical Advisory Group (TAG) that evaluated the various city's bids to host the Convention. Once in Milwaukee, Andrew Ballard was selected as the Director of Transportation for the Convention. His 7th Convention and 3rd as Director. Compiling an experienced group of industry professionals, TSD set out to create the largest transportation system ever used for a national political convention. This system would have covered 140 hotels in 2 states, consisting of over 600 motorcoaches and paratransit vehicles. After nearly two years of work, the Covid - 19 pandemic forced the DNC to dramatically change the format for the Convention eliminating the need for the program TSD was planning.
