TSD Inc. to coordinate Papal Visit.

Transportation Systems Design, Inc. Named Transportation Management Consultant for the World Meeting of Families – Philadelphia 2015

Philadelphia, PA (August xx, 2015) – Transportation Systems Design, Inc., (TSD, Inc.) an industry-leader in providing full-service event logistics, has partnered with the World Meeting of Families – Philadelphia 2015 to assist with the transportation planning of the Papal Visit this September.

Bringing more than 25 years of planning and logistical services for major events, TSD, Inc. will work hand-in-hand with the City of Philadelphia, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the United States Secret Service and numerous federal, state and local agencies in the planning and operation of transportation logistics for Pope Francis’ visit to Philadelphia from Saturday, September 26 – Sunday, September 27.

Spearheading transportation planning efforts will be Andrew Ballard who has more than 25 years of experience in transportation and logistical planning and implementation for large-scale events, including six U.S. Presidential Inaugurations, five Democratic National Conventions, Saint John Paul II’s visit to Baltimore in 1995, along with national and international sporting events such as the Olympic Games, FIFA World Cup and Super Bowls.

In addition to the overall transportation planning for the events, TSD, Inc. in partnership with Event Transportation Solutions, Inc. and Boston Mountain Productions, will provide shuttle services to the WMOF Congress (September 22-25) and for the program participants, clergy and invited guests attending the WMOF and Papal events.
